CHS Alums: We have received a request from a current CHS
senior and a head coordinator of this year's Mr. Spartan fundraiser to
help with their fundraising activities this year. They have many
events planned during the month of April which can be learned about
by logging on to their web site at:
www.chsmrspartan.org.
The fundraiser, which is in its 14th year, is planned and carried out
this year by 32 CHS junior and senior students. It will benefit the
Mario Pastega House and the Good Samaritan Regional Cancer
Center in Corvallis. The committee hopes to raise $50,000 and has
asked us to help get the word out to our classmates who may wish to
contribute. All donations must be received by April 24th.
For those wishing to help, checks may be made out to the Good
Samaritan Hospital Foundation and mailed to Mr. Spartan, 1400
Northwest Buchanan Avenue, Corvallis 97330. All donations are tax
deductible and donors will receive by mail the necessary tax receipt
from the Hospital Foundation.
Let's all help make this a successful event for CHS.
