Jeanne Crump (Yapur)

Jeanne was living in Chandler, Arizona, when she passed away after an accidental fall. 

Jeanne left for Mexico City right after graduating from high school. There she married Carlos Yapur, a chemical engineer and graduate of Oregon State University. He was commissioner of power and light for all of Mexico City and started three factories that produce electrical parts for other countries. He died in 2022. Jeanne learned to speak fluent Spanish in Mexico City. She also received a Master;'s degree. She started a business of her own and also worked as an accounts manager for a large corporation.

Carlos and Jeanne traveled to many countries for his business. It was quite an adventure for her. She was very open-minded about other cultures and people with their needs.

Jeanne and Carlos raised two daughters and a son  who survive her: Mary Helen Yapur, Fort Collins, CO; Wasilia Yapur, Mexico City; Carlos Yapur, Jr., Mexico City. She is also survived by her two sisters: Jude Crump Los angeles CA. and Cris Mahan, Gresham, OR, and  brother Steve Crump , The Dalles, OR.

Jeanne will be buried beside Carlos in Mexico City.
