             DATE:  Thursday, August 18, 2016

CHARTER OPERATOR:  Captain's Reel Deep Sea Fishing

TIME:  Leave Corvallis at 10:15 AM.  Need to be at charter's dock at 12:30 pm. Boat leaves at 1:00 PM.  Boat will be out for five hours and return to Newport at 6:00 PM.  If you want to meet us at the boat dock, it is located at 343 SW Bay Blvd., Newport.  Best parking is about 10 minute walk away from dock.

COST:  $75.00 not including license. Captain's Reel offers a veteran's discount. If eligible, bring verification such as retiree's ID, driver's license with verification or other ID. Discount will be refunded once final bill is determined. 

TYPE OF FISHING:  Ocean bottom fish (no salmon or halibut).

LICENSE:  Current Oregon angling license.  One day license can be purchased from the charter operator for $16.75.

TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT:  Provided by the charter operator.

Following the fishing trip, we will find a fine meal in Newport and return to Corvallis.

In order to start coordinating this reunion event, I would like your reservations as soon as possible as the boat holds a limited number of fishermen and women.  I think this can be a lot of fun….and, good for a lot of tall tales and stories about the ones that got away.
