Whiteside Theatre Tour
Time: 1:00 pm
361 SW Madison
45-60 minutes
Come see how the theatre is being restored. Reflect on great movies of the 60s that you saw at the Whiteside: West Side Story, The Birds, Goldfinger, Pink Panther, The Graduate, To Kill a Mockingbird, Planet of the Apes, and more. Visit the balcony, restroom, foyer, and auditorium. The Whiteside is currently being used for musical and cultural events while the restoration goes on.
Cost: There is no charge for either tour although donations are always appreciated and envelopes will be provided to make a donation. It is unnecessary to pre-register but organizers would like some idea of the level of participation so please let Joan Corcoran know at joanchs66@yahoo.com of your interest in advance.
Note: Information on other self-guided walking tours and sights in downtown Corvallis can be obtained from the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce.
