Most all of my working career was spent in the insurance industry - claims and underwriting. I did get my BS in elementary education at a time when there were minimal teaching jobs available.

Living in Gresham, Oregon 20 minutes from my son, his wife and my two most special granddaughters Kendra(now 16) and Natalie (14). After feeling like I missed a lot of their very early years living a ways from them (they were in Pendleton), I so appreciate being able to participate in their lives on a very regular basis.

School Story:

We didn't move to Corvallis until just before I turned 13 so my school experience does not go back as far as many of you. I enjoyed my two years at Highland View, and most of my time at CHS too. I look forward to our 50th next year. I was remembering when my Mom went to her 50th and wondering that people were still able to travel at that age (hers was in in Wisconsin, and she was 66 - younger than I will be at ours.)
